Based on the British rollover system whereby, the full jackpot amount is rolled over to the next week should there be no winner. Euro Millions is similar to the traditional Lotto with its tables.

If the jackpot has not been won after 12 consecutive draws the prize is distributed to the lower levels.

FROM THE OFFICIAL SITE: "According to the new regulations, effective as of this February 10th, if there is no first rank winner of the jackpot during the twelfth week of the game, the jackpot will be distributed during that same twelfth week among the winners of rank 2 or even the lower ranks if there is no winner in rank 2. The winners of rank 2 shall share the Jackpot of rank 1 as well as the sum attributed to rank 2 = double profit. If there is no winner in rank 1 or rank 2, the total amount of the jackpot is redistributed among the winners of rank 3 or lower, until the first winners are found. Obviously, this transfer can be very interesting: in second rank, there is now one chance in 5.4 million that you will win the jackpot instead of one in 76 million!"
